[Surname] Bolland
Hi,
I've been wondering for a while now about the origin of my own surname, Bolland. I'm afraid I can't trace it very far back as I'm not in close contact with my grandfather, but all of my paternal family come from Scotland, so I assume it's a Celtic name. I haven't really been able to find it anywhere so I'd really appreciate some information.
Thankyou so much!

There are Bollands in Scotland but the name is English as shown at tinyurl.com/jn22f4s. Note that it's also a German surname from a place so named in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
Thankyou so much!
