Ceridwen is actually expecting a baby - although she's still pretty young, she feels ready for this challenge. She and her fiance, whose first and middle name are English classics and whose last name is a compendium of two English words, would like to name their daughter after a character from Shakespeare. They don't think she needs a middle name.

Verity was happy just with her little boy, but his constant asking for a little brother or sister began to get to her. Finally, she decided to adopt. She has chosen to adopt from abroad. Her daughter has both a Chinese first and family name, although Verity has an English nickname for her that relates to her first name. She wants her daughter to use her surname, and so she has decided to change her name so that her former family name is now in the middle name spot.
