I like either Madeline (mad-a-line)* or Madeleine (mad-a-lin).
I know Madeleine is a French name and pronounced "mad-a-lehn" as you have it. But I Madeleine Carroll, 1930's actress, pronounces it as "mad-a-lin" and I've always assumed this was the British pronunciation. Does that make sense?
