I don't particularly like Ylvi. It's a bit too cutesy. I'd prefer Elvi or Ylva.

I agree that Ylva is more complete. Though I would probably have called her Ylvi as a nickname anyway.
Short names are darling, so it caught my fancy. I wouldn't use it though.
