Sounds too much like "Sap" and "Science" for me to take seriously. Not the weirdest Puritan name out there though

Cool to know that that was a Puritan name!

However today, I think it would be sort of obnoxious because of the way "intelligence" is valued and evaluated now.

It looks nice and the word has a nice meaning, but I find the sound unattractive. Still, I love unusual Puritan names and this one was new to me!
