I really hate Jacqueline with the English pronunciation. It's better in French, though I still don't like it.
Jackie has never seemed attractive or cute for a girl the way Georgie, Stevie, and Frankie do. The full name has such a sharp angular feel to it. It just doesn't feel nice to me.
I'd be happy to meet a baby Jacqueline today and not surprised. -Lyn names are quite popular and sound wise this fits in. I would be relieved to learn it was spelled properly. Jackalyn would be horrid, but I can see it happening.
