Alex and Ryan met their third daughter for the first time couple of days ago. She’s three years old and was put up for adoption when her aunt, who raised her, had a nearly fatal overdose and went to drug addiction therapy. She has been struggling to understand having a new family, but Alex and Ryan are confident she will fit right in eventually. They kept her birth name, which is related to nature, and gave her a new middle name, something used by Shakespeare.

Rory and Islay have been begging for a pet for a while now and Alex and Ryan finally decided, “Why not?!”. After much discussion over what type of pet they would like—Rory wanted a orangutan, Islay wanted a dragon or a zebra—Alex and Ryan decided to go for an Irish sheepdog puppy. Rory and Islay eventually picked out a name that is either a word characteristic they feel the dog has or a type of food they enjoy. Alex and Ryan moderated the choice.

Round 1: Gaia and Siobhan met their baby boy and brought him home just days ago. They decided to give him an entirely new name as his birthname, a Swahili name, was too hard for many Americans to pronounce. He has a cute, short first name and a longer, more elaborate, middle.
Round 2: Siobhan has always wanted to experience pregnancy, so she and Gaia came to the decision that they would try to conceive via sperm donor. Siobhan is now expecting a little girl. They have already decided on an unusual first name that seems vintage, but they are having trouble deciding on the middle name. They would like it to be unisex or related to nature.
Round 3: Siobhan and Gaia decided to adopt again. While Siobhan didn’t dislike pregnancy, she wasn’t altogether keen to do it again and Gaia had no interests either so adoption was the logical option. They took their two children on vacation in Mexico for a week before they picked up their newborn daughter there. They decided to give the little girl an unusual nature name for her first name and they kept her birthname, a Spanish name, in the middle name slot.

Round 1: It’s a girl! Eden and Dino are proud parents to a delightful daughter! After some deliberation, they gave her a short and sweet first name and an Italian middle.
Round 2: Dino was especially excited to find out that Eden was carrying a son. Now Eden’s just about ready to pop, and all of them are eagerly anticipating the new troublemaker. They have decided on a mythological first name and a middle name that means strong.
Round 3: Eden and Dino always wanted to adopt and, after registering to be on the waitlist for a child a couple years ago, they were finally notified of a newborn boy ready and waiting for them a couple days ago. They’re extremely excited, and are positive that the little guy will settle right in with their other children. They chose a name honoring a famous actor for the first name spot and chose a simple Italian name to put in the middle.

After the twins were born, James and Maxie decided that any more kids would put too much strain on Max’s body. This wasn’t the end of the matter though, because Max began again to suggest adopting a set of local siblings in need of a home. James has never been fond of the idea, and reasoned that doing so would bring up the amount of children to five or more, which both agreed originally would be too hard to handle. In the end they decided to adopt, but only one child, a little two year old. Phoenix chose her first name, also the name of a constellation, and the twins chose a name popular in Britain for the middle name.

It has recently become apparent that their foster son will not be able to go back to his original family and Blake and Kate have to decide whether to adopt him permanently or keep him for a while then put him back in the system (You decide). His first name is a common classic and his middle name is his birth mom’s maiden name.

Round 1: Paul and Natalia were having a bit of trouble conceiving their first child. This allowed them four years settling down into their jobs, and they are delighted to finally be expecting. They plan on giving their daughter a short-and-sweet first name and a middle name that honors a saint.
Round 2: It’s a boy! Just a year after the birth of their first child, Natalia and Paul are about to welcome their second. Their son’s first name starts with P, F, N or M, and his middle name is shared by a college or university.
Round 3: Considering the trouble they had to conceive at first, Paul and Natalia were awaiting a couple more years trying before a child when they started trying to conceive when their youngest son was one. Instead, Natalia got pregnant at the first or second try with twins! They decided to give the boys names from a pair of famous friends or brothers. The middle names are used in at least three languages.

Somehow, Jonas and Beth doubt the feeling will last. Iris loves attention too much. They decided to give their younger daughter a 5 letter long first name and an old fashioned middle name.
Round 3: Jonas and Beth have welcomed their third daughter and are overjoyed, but they now have a dilemma: more kids or no more kids? Jonas would like to have a son if at all possible, but the two of them are wondering whether four little ones would just be too much for them… For now though, they are so happy to see how their family has come together so far.
