Despite not being religious, Phoenix and Arna accidently chose names from the Christian Bible for both of their sons. They loved the meaning of both Jonah and Isaac - the former for the delicate and romantic connotations of the dove, and the latter to remind their son to always laugh and keep a smile on his face - they think they suit the boys tremendously. Furthermore, the story of unbelievable fishy survival is sure to enthral Jonah, while Isaac has the famous Mr Newton to follow. Jonah and Isaac's Icelandic middle names both have meaning derived from "warrior", Phoenix and Octavia, while not condoning violence, want to remind their sons of the way of warriors: discipline, respect and unity.
Carter has taken to the Paignton family well, he took all of Pixie's judging and questions on his broad shoulders and soon got her warmed to him - as long as everybody else! He's a biologist in a hospital with hobbies including watching and playing rugby and action-adventure movies.
