Delilah is o-u-t. Don't mind the name, don't mind the biblical temptress in the least, but the idea of having that Tom Jones song echoing throughout one's entire life - and it would! - is entirely off-putting.
Colette, then! I know a very nice one who is often called Letty. And I prefer it to the long and complicated Nicolette.
