Yes, that is odd! It's like, "Oh yeah, I have the same name as my grandmother's cat who is older than me..." I don't like Noah anyway though. My mom has a cat named Simon (whom I actually named when I was in high school) so even though I like the named, I'd never give it to my child. I try not to give pets such "human" names becausee it does make it awkward. My husband has a dog named Mark. Thank goodness we wouldn't want to use that for a child!

A little odd since the cat is still alive - both Noah's will meet each other. But, if the cat was deceased I wouldn't think it very odd.

Did Peyton name the cat? If so, then it means she loves the name. Why not use it on a real baby now that she has the chance? I once named a chicken Carmen. I'd still use that name on a child. I used it on the animal because I loved it.

Yes, I think it's odd, if human Noah's mother knows her mother has a cat named Noah. Why would you do that?
I think it's a bit funny for a cat to be named Noah too, come to think of it.

I agree its a little odd, but if you truly love a name you should use it in spite of pee-existing animals. It would be different if Peyton had a cat named Noah.
