Taffy is all-male and all-Welsh to me - like Morgan! - so definitely Daffy.

We don't use the word taffy where I live, though for all I know it might be eaten here under a different name. So I've only got one association with it.

Daffy would be cute within a family. Taffy is just too sugary (yeah I went there). Overall both are pretty horrible. O did read a book where Taffy was the name of the heroine and it worked pretty well.

I'm going to pass on both, honestly.

I'd rather be Daffy. Don't know why.

Taffy is better than Daffy, all other things being equal, but they should both be occasional nns imo, as full names they are both dreadful.

Sorry but I think they are both awful... I guess I'd have to pick Taffy as the one I hate the least.

Daffy is way less terrible than Taffy.
Daffy as a nn for Daphne is way way was less terrible than Taffy.

Taffy if I had to choose, but I don't like Daphne on its own either.

There was, briefly, a character on The Rugrats named Taffy, but her real name was Sarah.

Can't say I like any. Since people here are not named Daffy or Taffy, my only associations for Daffy are Daffy Duck and the word "daft". Oh, and I once knew a dog called Daffy.
