I adore Gabriel, it's a name that sounds soft and strong at the same time. It's a classic with loads of history, but not overused.
Henry is just... well, okay.

Gabriel seems sporty, somewhat international, heroic. I like Gabe okay. It's religiony and just in general NMS but I like it better than Henry which seems archaic, farmboyish, stern to me. Henry's not a bad name but. And Hank makes me think of dead greasy locks of cut hair on the floor.

It's warm and strong, sweet and regal Allah the same time. It gives me the same vibe as Raymond which is my favorite boy's name in all the world.

Gabriel is nice, but lacks the oomph.

Also Hank > Gabe.
