[Opinions] Kate or Lena?
Which is better? You can't pick both or neither, you have to pick one or the other. Please. :P "And by the way, dearie, your punctuation sucks canal water!"

LenaNot a fan of Kate. It's quite a harsh sound and there are so many of them.

LenaKate is so boring I can't even find the words for it.

LenaIt's a prettier name and sounds like a nicer person. Kate doesn't sound mean exactly, but it sounds neutral so it could easily be mean (or nice or anything else). Lena sounds nice so it's a lot less likely to be mean.Edit: I was assuming it's LE-na. Or I suppose LEH-na is also okay. If it's LEE-na then you should spell it Lina, but I like it better than Kate no matter how you say it.

LenaKate is so dull and insubstantial to me.

LenaI like Kate and it can stand alone, but I generally prefer it not do so. Lena is beautiful and soft but not too soft.

LenaKate is so cliche and overrated.

LenaKate is way too common; in particular it seems like it pops up way too much in fiction. If someone wants a strong female character, they name her Kate. Lena at least is different.

You are so right.Kate is such a generic name for strong female characters. Heck, just about anything starting with Kat/Cat is. I rolled my eyes when I first saw Katniss...

Lenal like Lena, Kate is a nickname for me.

LenaThey're both short, professional, and to the point. Normally I'd say Kate but Lena seems clearly more interesting. If you said Cate I would've had a tougher time.

Lena prn LEH-na > Kate > Lena prn LEE-naGenerally Kate is out of date IMO, starting to sound smug instead of spiffy.
Neither of these names is a favorite of mine, but I like to see Lena pronounced with a short e. Lena with an EE sound seems kind of ugly IMO, it should be Lina.

This doesn't count as picking both:Kate if it's a nickname for Katherine, Lena if Kate is a stand alone name.
