Mark and Linda spent the last five years raising their children. They can't believe little Yasmin is already in high school!
Michele and Alexander got into a car accident when they were driving home from a date one night. Luckily, they both survived, but Michele was no longer able to have children.
Chris and Hannelore moved in with Hannelore's parents when Chris lost his job. Hannelore still works in software engineering, but she's worried she might lose her job soon as well. The company they worked for is slowly losing money. Chris is applying for more jobs in tech, and works as a cashier to help make ends meet. Also, four years ago (before the tech bubble began to burst), Hannelore gave birth to twins. Hannelore's parents have helped a lot with taking care of the children.
Ian and Imogen were married when Imogen was 23, and they had Iris almost a year later. They have just had their second baby. Ian is doing quite well in the world of marketing, while Imogen is working in PR (though she's currently on maternity leave).
Julia moved to LA after college to begin her acting career. She's gotten a few minor roles in small movies and TV shows. She constantly talks about the time she played a corpse in Law & Order. She's on again, off again with male model Gustav Germain (who also happens to be two years her junior).
Liz graduated college and managed to get a job at Yahoo. She still wants to start her own company some day, but she realized during college that she doesn't know much about how the tech world works. She's working at Yahoo until she comes up with a cool idea and knows what to do with it. She met her girlfriend Daphne when she was still at Berkeley. Daphne works in hardware at Advanced Micro Devices (AMD).
Nicholas realized he wanted to be a doctor late in high school. Since Harvard has the best medical school in the country, he made it his priority to get in. He studied hard all through college and is starting medical school soon!
Isabel and Irina went off to college this past year. Isabel decided to stay closer to home than most of her older siblings-it feels like Michele is the only one who visits home anymore, since everyone else moved so far away. Isabel likes cities, so she's attending the University of Chicago. Irina has the same love of cities without the desire to stay close to home, so she went off to NYU to experience the wonder of New York! She's been fairly overwhelmed so far.
