[Opinions] Amaris wdyt
I have a new co-worker named Amaris. I think it is so pretty and of course I had to look up the name when I got home and found it is a Hebrew name meaning "God has Promised" it is prn ah-MAH-rhiss.
Also heard the name Dasha recently prn DAH-shah (Russian) I kind of like it too. WDYT?

I love Amaris, probably just because I have a thing for names that start an A. I don't like Dasha though.
It's pretty. It reminds me of the word "amorous".
I love this name, and I have for quite a long time. It reminds me of Artemis. Another favorite.
Dasha reminds me of Dasher, you know the reindeer? Haha. It's quite pretty though.

I like Amaris, although it would probably frequently be pronounced incorrectly. Neat meaning. I'm not so keen on Dasha, which would probably also be pronounced wrong.
i love Amaris and its meaning
"There is none Holy like The Lord, there is none besides Thee; there is no Rock like our God." (1 Samuel 2:2 RSV)

I dont really like either...and I had a classmate named Dasha

I prefer Amaryllis to Amaris, which I would automatically say as ah-MARE-is. Dasha is all right--has a beautiful sound--but I would rather spell it Dacia.

Let the children use it
Let all the children boogie

Amaris is a very pretty name. Dasha might easily be confused with Tasha.
Both very pretty indeed
