I'm not sure.
That's the problem. It feels dated, but I could still see it being used. I've heard so many dated names on kids lately - Eileen, Hazel, Gloria - that I wouldn't blink if I heard Diane on a baby. And I'd rather see Diane than Hayleigh (which is also dated to me.)
