It's my name and I'm very happy to be a Caroline. My experience is that it is a name that works very well internationally (especially in English and French speaking countries). It's a name people know but it's less boring (in my opinion) than Emma and Anna and other overused names in the Western world.
I prefer Caroline over Carolina and Coraline.
