According to some article I saw, there already is a surge in babies being name Simone.

According to the popularity charts it has only been decreasing in popularity but maybe the article was about a surge in popularity for this year.

I'm thinking if it does maybe Simon would as well among boys.Just a theory. It's not way down on the charts at all but maybe it would increase just a smidge. Again, just a theory

Pronounced siMON, it's fine. Pronounced siMOAN, it isn't. How does the gymnast pronounce her name, and do other people (sports commentators for instance) follow her lead? I didn't watch much Olympic stuff for time-zone reasons.
