In a 1916 ship's manifest my Great Grandmother's name is spelled ASSIVERISSA. Can you suggest what this is supposed to be, or mean?

ASSIVERISSA...?

Not a complete answer, but her |-ISSA| ending is likely a feminine suffix related to the modern English suffix |-ESS|.
