The past five years have been eventful ones for the Strickland clan. Miles and Violet celebrated their twenty-fifth wedding anniversary this year (with a surprise party thrown by their kids). They are loving their new role as grandparents and are busy helping Lily plan her wedding.
Lily and Hunter met six months ago and fell head over heels in love. They were engaged after four months and are busily planning their wedding, set to take place on the anniversary of their meeting. Lily was able to get into veterinary school after taking a year off to work full time as a vet tech. She is now in her second of four years of vet school. Hunter finished veterinary school two years ago and is working on a specialty in equine medicine even as he works at a small animal practice to earn money.
Charlie and Morgan met in high school when Morgan's family moved into the district. They were high school sweethearts and were married the summer after graduation. Charlie spent a year at a technical institute and now works as an electrician. Morgan works part-time as a hotel receptionist, but would much prefer to be a stay-at-home mom. Her son, Zane, was born when she was sixteen. Her parents helped raise him until she met and married Charlie. Charlie and Morgan just welcomed their first children together--a set of twins, Paulie and Julia.
Jamie just graduated from high school. He is not sure what he wants to do with his life, but is currently living in Washington state helping to run an "adventure camp" for kids. He gets to be outdoors all the time doing all kinds of adventure sports (hiking, rock climbing, white water rafting, ziplining, etc), which is really what he loves. He is dating one of the other camp counselors whose name is Nora. Their relationship is just getting started and neither one knows where it will go yet.
Kodi, 17, is a senior in high school. He wants to go to medical school and already takes online classes at the community college, hoping to get a leg up for college. He also spends time mountain biking and would like to bike the entire Appalachian Trail someday.
