It's not bad, I guess, but then again I'm aware of Mamrie Hart and how she pronounces it - MAYM-ree as opposed to MAM-ree. But I bet she has to correct people on the pronunciation the whole time and so I don't think the name is nice enough sounding to be worth the butt ache!

I could see it being used as a nickname for Miriam or Marianne or Maryam, something like that.
