You can obviously use Millie as a nickname for both Camilla and Camille.
My mom's name is Camilla, and it's never been a favorite. But it's a lot better than what she was originally going to be named (Petronella or Petra). If I lived in a English speaking country, or France, then Camille would be my preferred choice. Otherwise Camilla.
