Van and I have had a wild three years. Our firstborn, Brennan, is now three years old. He has curly light brown hair and green eyes. He started pre-school in September and likes it a lot. Unfortunately, he had to miss about two weeks of school because he broke his arm climbing a tree in our backyard. He scared me half to death. Besides breaking an arm, he had a concussion. Other than that, Brennan has been a great kid. He loves to talk and is very clever. He enjoys playing outside and he has several little friends that we have over once or twice a week. Brennan has been joined by two siblings. His brother, Jack, is one year old and looks almost exactly like Brennan. Jack is a bit quieter than Brennan, but he likes playing outside like his brother. Amber is our newest addition. She is just a few days old and the boys are still very curious about her.

Since the kids are all still so young, I decided to give up teaching for the time being and devote all my time to being a mother. Van and I are very happy with this arrangement, especially since Van got a new job at a zoo about 15 minutes closer to us. It pays better and there are less animals to take care of. Van loves his job and he likes when we come to the zoo and visit once in a while.

Recently, Van and I had a disagreement about our living arrangement. He wants to move to a bigger house, but I'd rather stay in our smaller one for now. We aren't really crowded now, but with another child we will be. Van and I have come to the decision that we will casually check into houses around our area. If we find a good one we'll move. If not, we'll stay put for now.
