It has been three very busy years. Linus and Néa have kept us busy! We went to different toddler groups, but a few weeks ago, they started Kindergarten. They really like it and are very sociable. Linus is a little shyer, but not very much. Néa is definantly the tomboy out of the two. Linus loves the nature, just like Milo and me and Néa loves to run around and build damms. Of course, this can't go by without injuries. Néa sends us to A&E more than we wish. She has already had several stitches and even broken her arm in January, when she made a ice slide and slipped and fell. Linus must have a guardian angel, he always follows Néa, but somehow, he hardly hurts himself.
The last 3 months have been very exciting, as not only did Néa brake her arm, but whilst we were in the hospital to get the cast taken off, my waters broke! I was pregnant and the baby was due to come at the start of March, but it was only the middle of February!
Of course, Milo and me had planned another housebirth, but try convincing the hospital staff of that when you are in hospital with your waters broken!
Well, Milo took Linus and Néa with her newly mend arm on his back and front (a very funny picture, this is the way he carries them, Néa on his back and Linus hanging on the front) and ushered me past everyone into the car and drove us home! The midwife came and Linus and Néa where there when their little brother Benjamin Silas was born! Silas means wood in latin.
We moved to the country last autumn because I started writing children books and can do that from where ever I want to and Milo is the local gamekeeper now. The house is lovely! It has a hugh garden for vegetables, flowers and loads of room for the children and a very big livingroom/kitchen, three bedrooms and a guestroom that we use as an office.
On our last anniversary we left Néa and Linus with Milo's sister and went on an expedition to South America.
We are very happy with our three children, but Milo and me have smelled blood and are already taking the chance of having another, only a month after Ben was born. We have the money and possibilitys and the love, so we can't wait to see who will follow Néa, Linus and Ben.

Milo and me are a perfect team, we both love the same things, eg nature and we do hiking trips every weekend. Sadly, our flat didn't have a garden, but we rented an allotment near by and spend hours gardening in it. After only 6 months Milo asked me in the garden on day, if I didn't want to tell him something. I didn't know what he was talking about. "Anna, my little Seraphim, you can't convince me, I grew up with older sisters!" I still didn't know what he was getting at. Milo laughed "You really don't know, do you? Anna, your pregnant."
You can imagine my face! Then it all clicked into the right place, I hadn't had my menstruation for 2 months and my breasts had started becoming taut. He was right!
We decided to marry, and it was wonderful. It was in August, outside and I had a girdle of flowers in my hair. After the ceremony we had a picknick on a hugh spread! Afterwards we went on our honeymoon, a week in a cabin, just the two of us and NOBODY else for 7 days. We had a lot of fun...
After the honeymoon, when we went to my next checkup there was a big surprise waiting for us: We were having twins!
Everything went well (Milo took me to the allotment every day, for my and the twins "daily supply of fresh air" as he put it.) Milo, whose family has experience with multiple births, took me on long walks every weekend to keep me healthy, even in the winter.
During the pregnancy I only worked 3 days a week and did the rest from home.
A week ago, our big day had come!
I gave birth to our baby boy and girl in a natural home birth with a midwife and a doctor on call if something would have happend. But everything went well. They were born with 25 minutes difference. First came our beautiful little boy Linus Gideon and then perfect Linnéa Morgaine "Néa".
They both have names from the botanical world, pretty obvious with our interest :-) And there mn's are the main characters of the book I was editing in the park when we met.
Now we can't await to welcome the spring in our garden with our two wonderful children.
Of course, it isn't a piece of cake with to babies, but Milo's sisters come and help us and they adore their new niece and nephew.
Also, Milo will only work 3 days a week in the following months. Luckily Linus and Néa have the same sleep pattern, it must be a nightmare for parents whose children don't!

I met Milo in the park when I was finishing a book I was editing on the first spring day. He tripped over me, because he was looking for bird's nests and didn't see me lying on the grass. We started talking and soon realised we both like nature a lot. We just rented a flat and are decorating it.
