There was a girl at my school named Universina - she went by Uni. Her grandmother was also named Universina. I thought it was pretty strange, but I've done research on the name and it's a legit Brazilian name - it was coined during the 19th century, after Brazil became independent. She's of Portuguese heritage and has a very Portuguese surname, so it doesn't look too weird on her.
