I think spelling it Mika and wanting it pronounced like Micah is needlessly complicating things. Mika, pronounced Meeka, is known as a girls' name, like Mika Brzezinski (speaking of difficult spellings) and Micah is well-established as a male name pronounced with a long i.

Rocco better have an Italian last name, because it sounds pretty silly otherwise.

If I saw Mika, I'd pronounce it MEEka and I might give it to a cat.
