[Opinions] Re: Dean
in reply to a message by Danno
I don't know if I'm the best person to ask for Dean combos. Since it's a title anything I try to put after it sounds like the dean's name, especially if the middle name is also a surname. I've overlooked this in other names I like so I guess it's just the name Dean that isn't a favorite with me. All of that said, from your list my favorites are Dean Lawrence and Dean Alexander. I would add:Dean Theodore
Dean Isaac
Dean Gavin
Dean Joseph
Dean Malcolm / Calum
Dean FrederickI will confess a secret love for Willodean. I love the idea of Deanie as a girl's nickname. Someone on this site once did a stellar thread on Willodean with very detailed information on it's origins. I'd link it if I wasn't computer ignorant. From what I remember, it originated in England as something like Willodene, a willow tree next to a dean's house. But I'm not sure on that. I think I found it by googling "Willodean." To show you what a nut I am about Deanie as a nn for a girl, I've even come up with possible full names like Celandine, Denise, Geraldine, Amandine, Edina and Leopoldine.
