[Opinions] Odette
Odette is so appealing to me at the moment. Could you ever see yourself using Odette as a first name for a child? What would be the middle name (I'm really only interested in one-middle-name combos; the multiple middle name thing doesn't really register for me).I like Odette Elizabeth quite a bit.Does it make you think of "odor?" Theodora has that proclivity for me a little bit, too.

Odette really is not appealing to me. But I really do not like any name ending in -ette. Possible Combos...

Odette Athena
Odette Aurora
Odette Catherine
Odette Lee

I like it how it's a name that sounds familiar but is unusual all at the same time. I personally wouldn't use it but I don't have a problem with it.

My sister was wild about this name a few years back; think it came to her attention because it was one of the Twelve Dancing Princesses (or something). I like it, and it doesn't remind me of odour, but the "OH" beginning doesn't appeal to me either. When it comes to 'O' names I prefer Octavia.Elizabeth bores me as a middle name quite a lot.
Although Odette is "out-there" already, I'd still want something more distinctive in the middle:
Odette Luna
Odette Freya
Odette Ivy
Odette Matilda
Odette Natasha
Odette Penelope
Odette Willow
Odette Alice
Odette Alexandra
Odette Kimberly?

I really like Odette. It's beautiful, elegant, magical and mysterious. I love how it sounds (even though it's pretty much 'Oh debt'). It doesn't remind me of odor, although I spell it 'odour' so I don't see it as an issue (even with Theodora). Odette Elizabeth is lovely. I'd maybe go for something like:Odette Persephone
Odette Maeve/Maeva
Odette Morgana
Odette Ariadne
Odette Guinevere
Odette Sylvie

I love Odette. How about these for middle names: Rosina, Sylvia, Corinne, Lucille, Ruby, Fern, Penelope, Maria, Claire, Eloise, Evangeline, Willow or Vivienne.
