Blair is short enough and does not need a nickname.

Blair Warner nearly taught me all I need to know about the facts of life; however I also remember the actress' first name, Lisa. I've seen perhaps only on screen at least one other Blair, but he is male. I think of his name as classy & elegant or shinning & eloquent--so I am happy for this name on either gender.

Blair will forever be linked to the old sit com The Facts Of Life for me.

I agree with number1212, I like Blair better on a girl. I did know a boy named Blair in high school, but he's the reason I like it better on girls lol (he was mean)

I love Blair. I mostly just like it on a girl. It sounds really weird on a boy to me. It also seems too short to get a nickname out of it.
