I haven't heard of it either. I wasn't sure if it was masculine or feminine, to be honest. It sounds Greek sort of like Hermione and Penelope but also reminds me of some masculine names such as Artemisios. I don't really think Artemide rolls off the tongue, it is a bit awkward to say. It isn't horrible, might grow on me, but I don't really like it.
