I like Lula as a nn because I don't love short names but it does work fine as a full name. Tallula is more my style as a full first name nn Lula. I too like Lula more than Lola.

I might use Lula as a nn but it is my mother-in-law's nn and I don't think she'd approve of us using it.

I LOVE the name Lula and would consider it for our DD due very soon, but so far DH hasn't been too keen. For me it holds memories of my beautiful gran, who would sing the song "Be Bop A Lula" with my DS's. I love the sound, I love that it means Pearl in Arabic (DH speaks Arabic) and apparently it's "hipster" which apparently I like!

I find it juvenile. Cute on a kid but I couldn't imagine being an executive named Lula. It's not terrible, just cutesy.

I like it. It has fire to it.

I love it! Short, sweet, and full of energy. I absolutely love Talullah, and I just love the sound of Lula; it's so fun to say.
