[Opinions] Isla or Maeve?
What do you think?
I'm thinking of using one as a middle name with Camille.

Maeve
Maeve is my favorite of these two. Maeve is my absolute favorite one syllable girl's name. It's cute and spunky.
I like Isla but it looks a little too similar to Island. But it also is cute and spunky.
Truthfully as a mn to Camille it would 100% depend on the surname. Also if I'm being truthful once again I feel like there are probably slightly better mn choices. Camille is just a bit too A and M heavy for Maeve and a bit too I and L heavy for Isla.

Isla
I prefer Isla.
Isla
I definitely like Maeve better, but I'm not sure I'd ever use it because this spelling is the Anglicized form and its original spelling, Medb (as well as the variants), would be hard to live with on a daily basis. IOW, I fear Maeve would go the way of Shawn and Shaun once parents learned of and embraced Sean. I'm afraid it would look wrong. OTOH, I can't see Medb taking off anytime soon and I find Maeve very pretty to look at!
Paired with Camille, though, I much prefer Isla.

Isla Camille.
Isla
Isla!
Maeve
I love the sound of Maeve, and the imagery I get from it, and I think it sounds better with Camille. Isla is nice enough, but so popular, and although Maeve looks like it'll keep rising (at least where I live in the UK), I doubt it would reach Isla's heights. Maeve seems to have more history and personality to it in my opinion.

Definitely Maeve. Isla has had a surge in popularity which will not last. Maeve is timeless.
By the way, as a partial solution to your Camille + Chantelle problem, have you considered using Camilla as an alternative to Camille? Camille could still be used as a nn, but to my ears the flow would improve and you'd lose the rhyme.
