Olivia really sparkles for me in a way that Anastasia does not. Literary, fun, and friendly. Even though they are equally long to say (in my accent at least), Olivia is snappier and, frankly, I can take her more seriously. I don't think Anastasia is bad but I do think she's unfortunately been cheapened a bit by Disney. :/ It's also very Russian to me, and since I'm not Russian I'd feel a bit weird using it.

20 Century Fox did the Anastasia movie, not Disney!
Unless you're talking about Cinderella's step sister Anastasia?

Olivia
Olivia because as much as I dislike how popular it has become I love it too much. I will always associate it with a dear friend from elementary school, back when it was an uncommon name. I also love the nn's Liv and Livie. If the name wasn't so popular it would probably be on my favorite girl's name list.
Anastasia is just too dramatic. It feels over the top as a fn. I only care for it as a mn.

Anastasia is too long for daily use, and though it could comfortably generate Anne as a nn, it's more likely to turn into Stacy, which I find lacking in personality as well as being dated.
Olivia, then. It's a family name, but the bearer of it (born between 1900 and 1910, I guess) chose to go by Olive instead. I dislike Olive, though I loved my distant aunt, but Olivia is much better.

Anastasia definitely. Has more substance and style in my opinion. Plus it's not as popular/over used.
Anastasia
No particular reason, I just like it better.

I adore Russian names and I actually like the nicknames for Anastasia, which isn't the case for most longer names.

it's the name of my favorite One Direction song (off its album, anyway lol), so it has a very good association for me! Plus, Anastasia is harder to type. lol

Olivia is so popular, and quite boring in my opinion. Plus it's the name of a girl in my year, and it just feels kind of awkward right now, same for Olive and Liv. I like Anastasia as A-nuh-STAH-zee-uh, I just prefer the sound to the other pronunciation. It has history, and I love the nickname options.

Anastasia is a little 1990s to me, and is also a bit of a mouthful. I sort of like it sometimes.

Popularity aside, I think it's prettier.

Anastasia!!!
Hi !!!
Anastasia is one of my favourite names!
I love it since I was a child.
Generally I love names with Ancient Greek origin.
Their melody is beautiful..pronounced in Russian and Italian They are familiar to me because the Greek and Roman mythology os commonly studed here.
After that it means "resurrection" a glorious meaning which is linked to life, death and new lives.
Finally it is used by the last Russian Royal Family.
It reminds me that "golden world" made of family trees, traditions and splendor that a royal life is in our imaginary.
