[Opinions] Re: February
in reply to a message by Tisiphone
Hi !!!
I was born if February!
But I've never heardit as a name.
I love autumn so September, October and November are really nice imo December as well is ok!
But I think that April is the best for a given name.
I saw it several times. It is short and feminine.

Are there any month names commonly used as first names in Italy? Aprile wouldn't sound bad, actually...

Hi Caprice!!!
In Italy month-names don't exist as FN.
Aprile could be the only one yes!. But only because Avril and April abroad are quite common so Italy would follow them. But also with these facts Aprile is never used as FN.
Gennaro and Giano were originally from the first month but I think that is not the same think because they are elaborated and they are not the current month-name (Gennaio).
Augusto is the modern for Augustus. But it is the same idea of Giano/Gennaro because the month-name in Italian is 'agosto' not Augusto so...
Finally month-names have no chance here..maybe in the future.
