I like Liz. My name is Ulrika and I've always been called Ullis by friends, so maybe that's why i like Liz.

I'd want to be Eliza, though Libby or Beth would probably be closer in feeling to my current nicknames.

I really don't care for Elizabeth or any of those versions except Betty, which I love.I especially loathe Lizzie / Lizzy, Libby, Beth, Betsy, Buffy, Elsa, Elsie, Ella and EllieI do like Isobel and Elspeth but tend to think of them as names in their own right

Most of these don't work well as nicknames for Elizabeth, in my opinion. Especially Bella, Belle or Ella. I'd also feel silly going by Elsa or Lisette. Even though they are forms of Elizabeth they are too well established on their own and I would feel like a Catherine going by Kaitlyn or something, odd. Liliana and Isabella etc. also don't work. I hate far fetched nicknames so maybe that's just a pet peeve of mine. I also dislike the practice of fully established names as nicknames for other fully established names e.g. Eleanora nn Eleanor. If I were called Elizabeth I would go by my full name. Liz is kind of nice too, old Hollywood glamour. Elizabeth Taylor nn Liz and Elizabeth Montgomery nn Liz (Bewitched). So I would be Elizabeth and sometimes Liz or Lizzie, I guess. If I could choose one as my full name (not a nn for Elizabeth) I would definitely be a Lily. I think it really fits me. But I dislike it as a nickname of Elizabeth as it is more of a flower name to me and even though it also started out as a nn for Elizabeth I think nowadays, with Lily topping the popularity of Elizabeth in many countries, it would be silly as a nickname to me personally.

Yeah if I had to pick one of these Elizabeth nn's as a full first name I'd choose either Lily, Lilia, Lillian, Liliana, Lilibeth, Bettina, Isabel/ Isobel, Isabela, Sabela, Ella, Elsa, Elisa, or Elise.Lilia, Liliana, Isabela, and Elisa suit me the most although I really love the others. Those four just match with Marisa the most and my name really suits me. The more I consider it I realize that Elisa suits me the most.

Lisi. It's Welsh.
My favourite from your list is Isabel/Isobel, but I'd prefer it as a separate name. Elise, Eliza, Elspeth ditto. & I have a soft spot for Babette because of one of the family cats :)

Here are some more I've heard/seen...Ibbie
Liesl / Liesel
Zibby
Elbie / Elby
Lili
Lilla
Lila
Liv
Lissy / Lissie
Lisbet
Effie
BethanI'd want to go by the full name, but if it had to be shortened I think I'd probably be a Beth or a Libby. My brother would have been a Libby if he'd have been a girl.

Well, I am an Elizabeth and I go by Beth. I obviously prefer it now, but when I was growing up, I really wanted to go by Libby or Liza. But since my parents had picked Beth as my nn, I couldn't get anyone to call me anything different, lol!

As a nn for Elizabeth, I'd be Betsan. But I'd prefer to be Isobel.

Absolutely Eliza. I love it. It's so old fashioned in the exact way that appeals to me that I can't describe. If not Eliza, then Lizzie. If not Lizzie, then Betsy I guess. Tho I'd make a terrible Betsy! I feel like Betsys need to be either preppy or cutely quirky and I'm neither. Also Betsy Devos has also sorta tarnished this name for me.

I would choose Beth or Libby.

I'd be a Liz.If were under 25 though, I think I'd rather be Libby.

If my name was Elizabeth, I think I would prefer to be called by my full name. Of the nick names, I think Eliza would suit me best.Isabel, Isabella, and Ysabeau are my favorite derivatives.

Lizzy BethElsie, Elsie Beth, Elsa Beth, and Elspeth are my favorite. I'd probably mostly go by Elsie. Before Frozen came out my favorite two were Elsa and Elsie but I feel like Elsa is too connected to Frozen now.Beth, Betsey, Liz, and Lizzie are also great but I know a Beth, a Betsey, a Liz, and a Lizzie very well. I also love Ellie but it is too trendy these days.
