I definitely prefer Georgina, though I don't dislike Denise. Denise is very pedestrian to me, whereas Georgina is refined (but not pretentious).

Denise has pronunciation issues, and seems very dated. Georgina was never that popular, so it's lasted better. I far prefer it. And I also prefer Gina or even Jean as a nn; Georgie doesn't appeal to me for boys or girls.

Georgina for sure! I think Gina or Genie are cute nicknames (if you need one). As much as I love George- names, Georgie is silly to me.
