[Opinions] Poppanya
What do you think of the name Poppyanya? Roughly translates as meaning graceful flower. I love the name Poppy, was wondering what everyone thinks of adding Anya to it. I think it's quite beautiful myself. A prettier version of Poppyanna.

I don't like it. It doesn't sound like a proper FN to me.
Aaand, in german, "popp" also means "f***" :@ so, in combination with the -anya ending, which is also a name by itself... no, just no.

Poppanya doesn't strike me as a pretty sound. Pop-and-ya. Poppy-Anna is nice though! Or even Poppy-Anya, that's different and neat-o. I also feel I should mention Poppaea (http://www.behindthename.com/name/poppaea/submitted), an ancient name that doesn't get much love anymore. I don't think that one actually has anything to do with poppies though, etymologically....

Offspring of Popeye and Olive Oyl?Apart from that, it's ludicrous. Could be the brand name for velcro-type pyjama fastenings.

No, it's not a prettier version of Poppyanna.
Poppyanya is difficult to spell and pronounce, and it looks horrible to be honest. Just stick with Poppy.
