Does Finland not have a naming board that disallows names? I thought it did but I can't imagine how Roosa would have gotten by them. I like the meaning of Talvikki. The only full name that catches me this time is Aada Helmi Lotta.

Roosa is an acceptable name in Finland. I should have mentioned that it's also the Finnish form of Rosa (which is also used in Finland). As a word "roosa" (or "vanha roosa", literally meaning "old roosa") means a type of pink color: its English translation would probably be "old rose" or "antique rose". The more common words for a color pink in Finnish are "vaaleanpunainen" and "pinkki" that are not used as given names. Sorry for being unclear!
