Winifred Arnelle sounds the best. The name Emery means ruler or chief. Winifred Emery is nice. Bridget means high one or strong. What about Winifred Bridget?

Emery is boys, so that's a definate no for me. i do like Bridget. i'm just not sure of the flow

I like:
Winifred Roderica
Winifred Erica
Winifred Henrietta
Winifred Harriet
Winifred Aubrianne Also with power meanings:
Winifred Kendra (from Kendrick - see the BtN entry; although it retains only part of the "power" element)
Winifred Valencia
- chazda

i put a list of the ones from here, but i really didn't get any results. i wish i could find a short names. i like 1 long name & 1 short name together. for a boy I want to use Augustus Joel or Augustus Jay

How about...Winifred Leah (Leah possibly means "mistress" or "ruler" in Assyrian, so this isn't definite)
Winifred AlaricaWhat's your grandpa's name? Maybe you could use a feminine form of it?Shannon

his name was Josef Fredrick. I've chosen Augustus Jay for a boy after his fn Josef = 'G-d will add' & Augustus = 'increase'. Jay would be for his first inital J. Winifred is after Fredrick. I love Winifred, so I took the Fred part, which means 'peace'. the Rick part means 'ruler/power' & that is what i want to use a mn. i would like something short because i think it would fit better w/ a long name

How about just Winifred Rica? It sounds a bit like Winna Frederica, but you rarely hear the fn and mn together like that, so it wouldn't bother me, personally.

Rica is pretty. what do you think of the flow of it when said together?

I think...... that Winifred Rica sounds lovely, and I love both names. So long as it flows with your surname, I'd say go for it. Shannon
