Iris or Ginevra!Lea - awful meaning (at least to most sources I trust, the Oxford dictionary says it means weary), boring.
Lisa - dated, boring.
Melissa - dated in the US/trendy in Italy, bland.
Lia - nothing special. it is so close to many common names such as Mia, Leah etc.
Iris - not my style but nice and uncommon
Ginevra - cute, a bit common in ItalyIf she likes uncommon names Iris is the best choice but I like Ginevra too. Next would be Lia, then Melissa, then Lisa and Lea (both equally bland).

Lisa and Melissa sound a bit childish to me, although I think they're OK.
I prefer Leah to Lea. "Den lea" is old Swedish for "the mean one" which kind of destroys the name for me. It's a pity...
Lia is very cute! There is a Swedish actress (of Danish descent, I think) called Lia Boysen.
Ginevra is beautiful. I don't think I had heard it until I read Harry Potter.BTW:
I used to have a classmate who grew up in Milazzo in Sicily, but she has a Swedish mother. Her name is Ingrid after Ingrid Bergman, because it was the only Swedish female name her father knew of. Her sister is called Lisa, I guess because it works fine in both Italian and Swedish.

I don't know how any of these names are percieved in Italy, but personally it's between Iris and Ginevra. Iris is "safer" but it's beautiful and classic and has an internationl feel. Where as Ginevra is gorgeous and dramatic and unusual.
