What are you thoughts on Euthalia and how would you pronounce it? TIA~ Always end the name of your child with a vowel, so that when you yell the name will carry ~

I think is a combination of Eulalia an Thalia. I don,t really like it.

Upon just seeing it, I pronounce it as yoo-THAY-lee-ah.It reminds me of euthanize, which makes me prefer Eulalia over it.

I think I have it somewhere on my masterlist, probably looking through some Eu- names. I like it, but I don't think the Eu adds much to Thalia, I prefer just Thalia and I think there are better Eu- names.. I say Yoo-THAY-lee-uh because I say Thalia that way, and that's how I like it. It's a pretty name, and interesting, which is always a plus for me.

you-THAHL-ee-uhI like it, but I do think the 'Eu' might be a bit hard for a kid. Hmm.

Oh, I adore it! I've been thinking about it a lot lately. It's so grandiose~~I pronounce it "yoo-THAY-lee-uh."

youTHAYlia. Thay, like say with a lisp.Eulalia meets a merciful death? I really don't like it one bit - it just isn't attractive. Clunky, yes, and too long.

I would pronounce it yoo-THAYL-ee-ah. It's pretty but slightly awkward.

Although I think it should probably be something like You-Tahlia, I can't help thinking it would come out sounding a lot like 'you failure' which is unfortunate :(

Ooh, that's pretty! I'm a sucker for Eu- names. I'd say it yoo-THAYL-ee-ah.

Well, it reminds me of euthanasia...of course, being that they both have the same prefix, one meaning good bloom and in the other good death. I would probably pronounce it you-thal-ya, based on the pronunciation of euthanasia, but I'm not sure that is correct.
