Chuck and Inez were childhood friends, growing up in a small desert town in California. The two have always been close before separating for university. They decided to take a chance in dating after reuniting for a mutual friend's wedding. After two years of dating, Chuck and Inez tied the knot when both were 23.
Chuck is a charming and kind young man who works as a licensed veterinarian, following the footsteps of his late mother. A huge animal lover, Chuck often donates to animal related charities and fundraisers and hopes to start his own veterinarian practice one day. Inez's straightforward personality may make her come off as blunt and a bit arrogant, but she can also be very thoughtful and compassionate. Since she was 17, she started a popular blog and YouTube channel (InezBadContent) where she reviews upcoming book releases and expresses her musings on literature. In her videos, she's known for her harsh and biting sense of humor. Currently, she is working on a YA novel.
Year One
Family Event: Travel to a new place
Chuck and Inez take a quick trip to Washington DC for the Cherry Blossom Festival! The couple got to take a billion pictures of the gorgeous flowers, meet interesting people, see amazing perfromances and of course bought enough merchandise to start their own store.
Year Two
Child Event: New baby girl

Chuck and Inez are now expecting their first child, a baby girl. While a bit scared of actually raising a child, the couple can't wait to have their family grow. After nine long months, Olivia Natasha Stacey is born.
Year Three
Random Event: Adopt a pet
The Stacey family decides to adopt a pet, a female Himalayan cat named Peaches. Peaches is a reminiscence of Inez's childhood cat (also a Himalayan cat) named Gary, who passed away from illness when she was 12.
Year Four
Career Event: Loses Job
After working part time at the local library, Inez catches a teenage boy sexually harassing a young girl and public shames him. The incident cases trouble for the library and decides to let Inez go. While angry and disappointed, Inez now has time to focus on her novel and YouTube channel.
Year Five
Family Event: Someone wins award
After publishing her well received novel, Inez wins the National Book Critics Circle Award for fiction. Inez didn't expect her novel to get the praise it did, let alone win a huge award for it but she's blessed nevertheless.
Year Six
Career Event: Promotion
Chuck gets a promotion at his job. Along with earning an extra $50,000, Chuck is now head veterinarian.
Year Seven
Family Event: Someone wins award
Chuck wins the AVMA award, an honor he's been dreaming about for years. Chuck finally feels that he's living up in mother's legacy.
Year Eight
Random Event: Recent Death (my choice)
Chuck and Inez finds out that their childhood friend, Ben, has recently passed away after being struck by lightning. Devastated, Chuck and Inez heads over to Oregon for the funeral to pay their respects. There, the couple meets Ben's widow, Charlene and his twin daughters, Isabel and Jessica, and offer to stay for a few days to keep his family company.
Year Nine
Family Event: Someone moves in
Inez's brother[30]: Caleb Ivan St. George
-Occupation: Freelance writer/Travel Guide
-Hair: Wavy Brown

Inez's younger brother, Caleb moves in with the family after separating with his estranged wife, Poppy. Promising to stay just for a few months while he works things out with Poppy, Caleb volunteers to cook dinner twice a week and take Livvy to school every day. After 4 months pass, Caleb and Poppy decide to divorce for good and Caleb finds an apartment close to the Staceys.
Year Ten
Random Event: Livvy meets Emma Watson (my choice)
After winning a writing contest, Livvy gets a chance to meet her favorite actress and role model, Emma Watson. Being a huge Harry Potter fan, it's a dream come true for Livvy. After bonding with Emma, Emma encourages Livvy to write to her and she'll promise to write when she can. The two become pen pals for years to come.
Year Eleven
Family Event: Someone moves in

After a nasty divorce from her tycoon husband, Chuck's stepsister, Charissa and her daughter, Becca moves in with the family for awhile, until she gets back on her feet. Growing up, Chuck and Charissa weren't exactly close, but seeing her extremely depressed from the high publicized divorce, he knows he has to be there for her sister. Before her marriage, Charissa was studying to become a school teacher, and now she's back at school to finish her degree. Six months later, Charissa graduates with a degree in child education. Charissa and Becca later moves to LA to start her job as a kindgergarten teacher.
Year Twelve
Random Event: Move to a new place
The Staceys move into a two story townhouse in a well to do Washington DC suburb, where Chuck finally opens his veterinarian practice.
Year Thirteen
Child Event: New baby girl!

Thirteen years after having their first child Livvy, Chuck and Inez decided to try for another child. After awhile, Inez is now expecting another girl. On the day of her birth, they decide to name her Margo Aileen.

Chuck had always wanted to adopt a child and finally convince Inez that it will great for the family and the child. They decide to adopt a 7 year old girl from Kentucky, who just recently lost her parents to car crash. Her name is Annabelle Patricia. At first, Annabelle is very shy and closed off from the Staceys but eventually she warms up to her new family. At a young age, Annabelle (affectionately called Belle) has shown to possess talents in drawing and music; signs her up in the local youth orchestra.
Year Fifteen

Already enjoying life with her husband and girls, Inez finds herself unexpectedly pregnant again. Being 40, Inez knows having a child is risky but goes along with it anyway, excited to have another child. Inez eventually gives birth to a girl, Rosalind Bellamy.

After seeing how a joy Annabelle turned out to be, Chuck and Inez decides to adopt 3 sisters (an 11 year old and 7 year old twins) from South America, Portugal to be exact. The girl parent were murdered during a robbery and have been moving from family member to family until finally being place on adoption. Érica is very headstrong and is protective over her little sisters. Maria (Mia) is super hyper and courageous while Mafalda is more reserve and overly sensitive.
Year Seventeen
Random Event: New job and move
New Occupation: Lecturer
Inez is offered to lecture at the University of Washington, so the entire family makes the move from DC to Seattle. Once their they move into an old and historical home in a Seattle suburb. They hope this will be their last move, in order to raise their daughter in one stable place.

Random Event: Livvy graduates high school
This the event Chuck and Inez have waited and dread their whole lives; their baby finally graduated high school. Livvy graduated valedictorian with a 5.0 GPA. She plans on attending UC Santa Barbara to study Aquatic Biology.
