It's not ready for a comeback yet. It hasn't quite dropped out of the top thousand. It will need to spend quite a bit of time out of the top thousand before it's ready for a comeback. And all of the women who were given the name Susan from 1935 to 1985 will need to have gone to The Great Beyond. And then some names never come back, so there's no way of knowing for sure that it ever will.
It's a dated name that I like and can see the appeal of. If you like it enough to use, then I'd say go for it and don't worry about its being out of style.
