What do you think of Jasmine?
I go back and forth on it. Sometimes I think it's lovely and I get a nice flower image from it and sometimes I think of a girl in tight leopard pants with fake boobs, fake blond hair and a pink top and high heels as well as tons of make-up. Spelling variants such as Jazmine, Jazmin etc. don't really make things better. But then again I sometimes get the image of this beautiful, nice smelling flower and then I start liking it again.
I like Lily Jasmine and Lily Yasmine as combos, are they too much?
I also kind of like Yasmine. What do you think of Yasmine? What about Jasmina and Yasmina?
Could you rank Jasmine, Yasmine, Jasmina, Yasmina?

I love the name Jasmine and it was one of the names we considered for our newborn DD Eden. Our oldest DS Jasper really wanted us to use Jasmine for his baby sister! When Eden was born, I thought she looked like an Eden or a Jasmine, but ultimately Eden was her name. I just think of the beautiful flower with the gorgeous scent when I hear the name Jasmine. I wouldn't use Lily and Jasmine in the same combo. I love the name Yasmin (prefer this spelling) and I also considered that name at one stage. I like them in this order, Jasmine, Yasmin, Yasmina and Jasmina.

I really like Jasmine. I think it's a bit underrated. I've never met one but it's a nice well known name.
I don't like it with Lily and find Lily a bit full compared to Jasmine
I'm not a fan of Yasmin but quite like Jasmina though prefer just Jasmine.
Something like Jasmine Charlotte or Jasmine Cordelia would be nice. I appear to see it going nicely with C names lol

Some flower names just don't work for me, and Jasmine is one. Also Lily, Primrose and Disa. In all cases I like the flower and its name, just not on a human.
So I can't find a kind word to say about Jasmine and especially Lily Jasmine! But, perhaps it's partly the prospect of Jazz as a nn, because I like Jessamine much better and I don't mind Jessie or Jess at all. What do you think of Jessamine? Normally, names like that are too frilly for me, so I'm a bit puzzled right now.

Yes. I have the same problem.
I love the flower but unfortunately the most of Jasmime & Co. people I met were yob (not sure of this word but I mean your image of teen with this name).
I think it is also tacky although Jasmine was one of my favourite princess.
Do you know that Prince Albert II of Monaco has a daughter named Jazmin Grace?

She seems youthful, spunky but sweet.
Lily Jasmine .. mm too different flowers imo. They have a different vibe. Prefer Rose with Lily.

It is really really rare and quite dated (granny-like name). But I hope for a future revival. It is not so bad (the flower is actually 'gelsomino' with final o but it is not a given name). I think it is only unknown but ready for more popularity.

I like Jasmine but I prefer it as a mn. It has a beautiful mysterious elegance but also seems a little cheesy.
I have known a Latina Jasmine and a white girl as well as a couple of Middle Eastern Yasmin's and one Yasmeen. As well as one Latino male Yasmin. The Latina Jasmine who went to my elementary school for a couple of years was the only one I got to know at all. It was my earlier school years so I don't remember much about her but I recall her being nice. The only Jessica and Jennifer in my elementary school classes were also Latina so a lot of J names do make me think of Latina American women.
I picture a Jasmine having light or dark tan skin and brunette hair.
I think Lily Jasmine is too much, it is even more so too much than Lily Rose or Lily Rosalind.

I think I have the same problem. I've loved Jasmine for as long as I can remember, but it has gained a little bit of an image. I think that it's still a beautiful name and I stubbornly refuse to let it be dragged down by a vague stereotype.
I think the floral combos are a bit much. Sure, they're very pretty, but they don't feel solid.
I like Yasmina and Yasmin over Yasmine and Jasmine over Jasmina.
