[Opinions] Re: Myron
I've had it on my list for a while now, but I put it on before I discovered that people think it sounds old. I don't think it sounds old either. I haven't run into enough Myrons to come up with an image of age. Everyone else seems to have run into a lot of them who are old, and see it as really old, but somehow I escaped. There are so many names that are fusty, dusty, powdery, doddering, and creaky, that people think are hip ... they're naming kids Theodore and Jeremiah, but Myron sounds too old? I don't get it. I agree Myron sounds like it should be trendy. Mason, Milo, Elijah, Maia, Lyla, Kylie, Ryder, but not Myron? Now I can't help wondering if maybe they got the idea that it's old from watching "Friends."- mirfak
