[Opinions] Re: Jamesina and Thomasina
in reply to a message by Indy
I prefer Thomasina.Jamesina has always felt forced and a little bit awkward. Also sometimes when I say it outloud it sounds a bit too similar to Jameson which is a brand of whiskey. Jamesina isn't a name I dislike but it's only okay.Thomasina doesn't feel forced but like Henrietta it does feel like an obviously feminized male name. Henrietta and Thomasina have always felt like the perfect sibling pairing for both of them.Thomasina also reminds me of the character Mrs. Thomasina Tittlemouse by Beatrix Potter.
