Definitely Thea.Thea Louise
Thea Margaret
Thea Valerie
Thea SuzanneI knew a woman whose mother (a very conventional woman from a very conventional community) was named Dorothea Frederika - both family names. When my friend was born, in the only act of rebellion ever recorded, she named her Freda Thea. And, in her turn, Freda had a daughter and named her Thea. Nothing else!

Thank you. And Thank you for the story of your friend and her family. I personally think that Dorothea Frederika is a mouth full, but still is pretty. And Freda Thea is a little bit of a tongue twister. But it's a cool story. :) I also like these suggestions..Thea Louise
Thea Valerie

I'm starting to really like Thea now. I used to have this one person I associated the name with, and made it a bit meh, but a character in a show I've been watching lately has made me like it a lot more. I think it's a short, sassy, feisty name, I imagine a girl/woman with a lot of strength and personality. I'd spell it Thea, as to not complicate the pronunciation. I have Theia on my list as Thay-uh, and that has a completely different feel to me. As for middles, just off the top of my head maybe:
Thea Alexandra
Thea Hermione
Thea Adelaide
Thea Merida
Thea Marigold
Thea Beatrix
Thea Rosalind I also keep thinking Thea Olympia/ Octavia/ Zenobia/ other -ia names would be great, but forget that they share an ending with Thea *sigh*.

I prefer the look of Theia but maybe it's better to use Thea as she will always have to explain the spelling otherwise. It's okay, I think it will become trendy. I personally think there is something strict and cold about it which I don't like. Theia seems a lot softer and warmer but it will also need more explaining. It makes me think of the word 'tea' whereas Thea doesn't. I have no idea why, but maybe that's because Theia looks warm, sunny and sweet in comparison to Thea.Theia Rosalind

I pronounce them differently - Thea as thee-a and Theia as thay-a. I prefer Theia. I see Thea mostly as a nickname (e.g. Dorothea), whereas I view Theia as a stand alone name and not a diminutive.Theia Brielle is nice. I think it would sound good with a 3 syllable middle name as well.Theia Elodie
Theia Gabrielle
Theia Josephine
Theia Juliet
Theia Rosalie
