I love Evie! The first time I heard it was on an older girl in my music group who I thought was really cool, and was an amazing musician, so I have a good association with it. I definitely think it works as a full name particularly as where I live it's incredibly popular as a full name (so much so it's on my too popular guilty pleasure list). I like it enough that I've thought about using it occassionally as a nn for Evanthe, even though I'm not usually a big fan of nns.
