[Opinions] Buendía
Hi !!!WDYT?
It can be usable as a name?I love "Cien años de soledad"...I know that Buendía is a surname.
But it has a nice meaning.
And it is literarian so it has a special vibe if you had read the book.I will not use it in real life.
But maybe for a fictional character?
Or on a child of someone else? Can you imagine a person named Buendía?
How is he/she? What age? What features or personality?Augusto Aurelio Basilio Bruno Filippo Flavio Leone Luigi Stefano ValerioAnastasia Angelica Cassandra Clarastella Corinna Dafne Diana Dora Fiammetta Flora Gelsomina Ginevra Lavinia Luna Morgana Noemi Olimpia Perla Rosa Rossella Serena Stella Susanna

Since it is such a literal translation, I don't think it works well as a first name. It would make a fantastic character name, but I would go with Benedita if you wanted the meaning. Buen IS a very pretty sound imo. Maybe Bienida? Like a shortening of Bienvenida?
