So a friend of mine on Facebook's wife just had their second child and his name is...
Amos Emmanuel, brother of Harriet "Hattie" (I couldn't find her middle name, sorry guys.)
Personally, I think it's really charming. Emmanuel is nms, but I've always had a bit of a soft spot for Amos.

I like the names individually, kinda hipster-ish in a good way, but as a sibset it suddenly leans very redneck.

an unsophisticated person from a rural area; hick.

an unsophisticated, boorish, and provincial person; rube.
For whatever it's worth, I have a similar association with Amos.
Asa does sound rural South to me too, but antiquated - I don't think I'd think of it if I met a child Asa.

Everywhere there are some prejudices like this.
Also in Italy if you hear names such Addolorata or somenthing like this you can imagine a stereotype of Southern-Italian person.

I mean, to be fair, the parents DO live in rural Wisconsin, which is a help of a lot more redneck than anyone gives us credit for...
